Volop winter

Het is volop winter. Werkelijk zoveel sneeuw zie je niet elke winter in Nederland..We hebben net kerstkaarten in de straat rondgebracht,al glibberend omdat het geen doorgaande weg is. Het is net een winter kaart zo mooi in ons straatje.
Het huis is versierd dus de feestdagen kunnen komen. De sfeer is al volop aanwezig.
De cursus Inspiratie is afgelopen en ik heb alle opdrachten af kunnen maken. Hieronder nog enkele layouts die ik gemaakt heb.

Nederlandstalig bloggen.

Ik ben geen ster in het regelmatig bloggen. Ik vind het leuker op dit moment om te scrappen en tutorials te doen. Ook merkte ik dat het Engels bloggen me minder spontaan liet typen omdat ik veel dingen moest opzoeken,en het veel tijd kostte. Op de site van Jessica Spraque volg ik momenteel een class over inspiratie. Dit doe ik samen met mensen over de hele wereld die ingelogd zijn op de site. We maken een Art journal vol inspiratie bronnen. Ik zal wat foto's van mijn ontwerpen laten zien. Ik ga dit uitprinten en in een ringmap doen. Er kan dan nog van alles bij als deze class afgelopen is. Ook zal ik nog wat Layouts laten zien die ik afgelopen maand gemaakt heb. Hopelijk ga ik nu wat sneller bloggen.

Ik heb geschreven dat ik momenteel veel inspiratie heb en dit wil bundelen in dit art journal. Dat alles zo netjes op een plek is.

    Dit heb ik gemaakt voor de wekelijkse challenge van Jessica. De opdracht was om een layout te maken van een doodgewoon onderwerp wat voor jou van groot belang is. Into the wintertime

It is getting dark earlyer and we are heading to the wintertime again. I used to be a little depressed because i am a sun lover! But he i have my perfect hobby,it helps me true the winter days. I love to do some tutorials and to  make new layouts. Actually i made a few and of  course there are a few about Boris my cat.

Hey is that you in there!  Boris was up on the roof when he suddenly spotted me in my scraproom! I quickly took a picture to capture the surprise on his face!

Health problems

There where some health problems that kept me away from blogging. I feel a little bit better now,so here are the two layouts i made for the challenge gallery last week. We had to use typography in a big way.

I made a  layout about my son going out, and one about Boris my cat.

Creative team search

How wonderful is this!! I thought id would be next year,and was planning to go for it than. But to my surprise it is now! So i"ll go for it. Seems awesome to me to join the team,and make beautiful things with all the great stuff!! I made two new layouts, and changed one to fit (with a little twist for the team search)

Autumn is here

A lot of brush work, the use of a mask and clippingmask, blending, in this lay out! Also I made my own word arts. Autumn is the season to enjoy with all your senses! That’s what I tried to express in this layout.

Sugar sweet words

In this layout my son is calling me with his telephone toy, I was talking back but also took a picture, what made him look so surprised! This was on older  photo, that I had to scan, with a bad back ground. So I made a selection and replaced the background. I wanted to make a sugarsweet LO, so I used the sugar- schock kit. I recolored the wordart and gave  all the words the sweet colors of the layout. I made the boxed background  myself.

Stiches: Scrapping my buns off- I did a clippingmask with a paper from the kit.

I did a gradient on the backgroundpaper .

I’m doing it,(and i’m loving it)

This is a layout that I made for the challenge gallery a while ago. I was proud of myself after I made my siggie, and thinking about the fact that I didn’t  even  know how to put a computer on a couple of years ago. I liked that LO, but looking back I am not happy with the picture that was in it. So I have changed it with a little creative(team) joke!

In this LO I made a lot of the embellishments myself ,and used a lot of  all the things I learned from Jessica, to get it the way that I wanted it. And of course to show  my siggie, that was made with the  You are awesome kit.

I made a nice autumn decoration.

I love decorating my home,and i made this bunting as i saw it on the Scrap "n art blog. Mine is made from the Stuff to scrap blogtrain Fallfestival.

I added some stuff i had at home, to finish it off,so it became a hybrid project.

Today i added my signature!

I added my signature,and now i had to make this post to see if it works!

This blog is getting dressed up now!

I'm learning a lot in my bloglessons. So far i created a new background and header,my photoframe and my wordart. The lessons are very easy to follow,thanks to the video instructions. I'm not ready yet,there is more to come in the next week.
No time for scrapbooking this week,but i learned alot about blogging,and decorating my blog.

It has been a few days since i posted. Today my lessons for blogging started!
Well did i learned some new things!! This post i make with the video lesson open in another window.

So now i can practise a little bit and show you my latest layouts. I didn't do much scrapbooking the past 10 days, because i was cleaning up my computer! The tagging of all my scrapstuff took a lot of time,and i still need to work on it. I am using Picasa now,because i couldn't find my stuff as quick as i wanted  it,(i have too much) So now i did throw away a lot too. The things i did make where layouts for the challenge gallery at Jessica's. here they are.

This is a cute way to store  a few of my buttons! I used Creativity by Crystal paper aug 2009 and mini label. Miss Tiina Designs buttonpaper. Ribbon in my own collection.

Welcome to my blog!

Today is the day!

I decided to start my own blog!

This blog will be all about scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking.

And it will be in English because i made a lot of friends in the digiworld,who are not speaking Dutch,so they can visit my blog too!.

I would like to share some lay outs here and maybe some freebies.

I am planning to do a class about creating a blog,so my blog will be more personal and up to date in September. For now i just want to start with two lay outs i made this week!

This is the beach at Dishoek in Vlissingen (The Netherlands) On this LO you see my son and the boyfriend of my daughter. And in the distance you can even see my husband. I especially like the photo of the sand,you can almost feel the relief under your feet. In the journaling i tell you why i like the beach so much.

This is Heusden, It is a fortified town,very attractive,and its not far from the place i live. Great place for a walk and there are nice terraces. On sunday the artistic shops are open and it gets very busy. I made some great photo's,put some selfmade overlays on them and made my l.o. for a book about all the things(and places etc) i love.
The beach l.o is also for this book!
For this L.O i used: Vintage brushes get brushed, Dinphy sail away buttons,grunge brushes, fonts Oracle and centhury gothic.I made my own papers out of the brushes,and with the gradients. I am using Photoshop Elements 7 and a Wacom pentablet,on a PC.

Thats it for now,i am off making my L.O for the challenge gallery at Jessica's!.
